The Rev. Dr. Peter-Michael Preble joins North Community Church as Interim Minister beginning this August. With more than two decades of pastoral ministry, Peter has walked alongside congregations and families through both joy and sorrow, helping people discover God’s presence in the ordinary moments of life.

Beyond parish ministry, he serves as a hospice chaplain, certified grief coach, end-of-life doula, fire chaplain, and veteran. His preaching is rooted in Scripture and shaped by Celtic spirituality’s appreciation for God’s presence in creation. As he often says, “My home is Christianity, but I have many cottages.”

When he’s not preaching, Peter enjoys reading history, tending his garden, and sharing a good cup of coffee.
