DESCRIPTION:The joys of the Christmas season can at times be overshadowed by the pain of loss\, financial anxiety\, serious illness or debilitating worry. Join us on Thursday December 21 at 7pm\, at North Community Church for a “Blue Christmas” service. Also known as a “Longest Night” service\, a Blue Christmas service is held on or near the longest\, darkest night of the year to acknowledge that pain exists among the joy of the season along with the promise that “joy comes with the morning.” \nYou are invited to attend\, to take time to remember those we will miss at Christmas and to leave with the hope of the Light that the darkness cannot overcome. \nCome for quiet…Come for comfort…Come for hope.\n“Weeping may linger for the night\, but joy comes with the morning.” Psalm 30:5
